  1. Drag and drop your image into the upload area, or click browse files to select one from your device.
  2. Type your watermark text and choose a font, size, color and opacity. Enable outline if the text needs more contrast.
  3. Pick a position from the 3×3 grid and adjust rotation if needed.
  4. Compare the Original and Watermarked previews to confirm the placement.
  5. Choose an output format — WebP for small files, PNG for lossless images, or JPEG for broad compatibility.
  6. Review the size stats and click Download Watermarked Image to save the result.

Privacy and Client-Side Security

Privacy Guarantee: All watermark compositing and format encoding occurs locally inside your browser. Your files and data are never transmitted, stored, or recorded on remote servers.

Many online watermark tools ask you to upload your photo to their servers before processing. That creates privacy risk for personal or work images. TinyToolzz takes a different approach: the watermark is drawn entirely on your device with the HTML5 Canvas API.

The image and text are composited in browser memory and encoded into the new file without a single network request carrying image data. When you leave the page or click Reset, the image data is released from memory. Nothing is stored, logged, or shared.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the add watermark tool work?
The tool draws your image onto an HTML5 Canvas and then draws your text on top at the chosen position. Font, size, color, opacity and rotation are applied with Canvas text APIs, and the combined result is exported as a new image file.
Are my photos uploaded to a server when I add a watermark?
No. The Add Watermark tool runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas and FileReader APIs. Your image is read from your device into browser memory, watermarked locally, and is never transmitted, stored, or recorded on any remote server.
Can I choose where the watermark appears?
Yes. Choose from nine positions including top-left, top-center, top-right, middle-left, center, middle-right, bottom-left, bottom-center and bottom-right. You can also rotate the watermark from -90 to 90 degrees and adjust its size and opacity.
What output formats can I save the watermarked image as?
You can keep the original format when it is JPG, PNG, or WebP, or export as WebP, PNG, or JPEG. PNG is lossless and preserves transparency, JPEG is the most compatible format for sharing, and WebP offers the best compression for photos. GIF, BMP, ICO, AVIF, TIFF, and SVG inputs are converted to PNG when you keep the original format.
Does adding a watermark change the image dimensions or quality?
No. The watermark is drawn on top of the original pixels without resizing. Width, height and sharpness stay the same, only the text layer is added. Quality is controlled by your chosen output format and quality slider.
What happens if my image has transparency?
Transparent pixels remain transparent when you export to PNG or WebP and the watermark is composited over them. If you export to JPEG, which cannot store transparency, you can choose a solid background fill color to replace transparent areas before the watermark is applied.
